My opponent was younger and bolder.} 1. e4 c5 {I realised he was sharp in his style.} 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6 {Apparently this evening, I was up for it, so I played} 6. f4 {The Russian Levenfish favoured this move. And Flohr, recommended Black's answer.} Nbd7 ({There is one point. If} 6... Bg7 $2 7. e5 {and if} Nfd7 {White can play} 8. e6) 7. Be3 Bg7 8. Be2 b6 {I think he wanted to get some sharp play very quickly. I think he castled, it would be White who got into the attack. It had an effect. With my two Bishop moves, I had intended a safe quiet development and in that spirit, White should have castled. But I decided to enter into the sharpness that Black was inviting.} 9. e5 {After this, his clock read 9 minutes used, and mine was 25 minutes used.} dxe5 10. Nc6 Qc7 11. fxe5 {I'd spent some time thinking over these moves, and felt I could swap blows, since he hadn't castled.} Nxe5 12. Bf4 Nfd7 {He played it this move quickly, as if to show that my 12th move wasn't a surprise.} 13. Nxe7 {Funnily enough, this prevents him from castling.} Nd3+ ({Note Black cannot take the Knight} 13... Kxe7 {because of} 14. Nd5+) 14. Qxd3 Qxf4 15. Ncd5 Qe5 ({He suggested afterwards, that playing} 15... Nc5 {was probably better.}) 16. Nc6 Qd6 ({If Black played} 16... Qxb2 17. Nc7+ {And the White Queen goes to d6.}) 17. Qe4+ Ne5 18. Nxe5 {Here he panicked a little bit and with a piece down, played} O-O ({He'd noticed that} 18... Qxe5 19. Nc7+ {and after swapping Queens, White can take the Rook.}) ({Instead of castling, he'd probably been better playing} 18... Bxe5 {and then taking his chances, depending upon what I replied.} {e.g.} 19. Nc7+ Qxc7 20. Qxa8) 19. Nc4 Qc5 20. Ne7+ Kh8 21. Qxa8 Qxe7 22. Qf3 Re8 23. O-O-O Qg5+ 24. Kb1 {I think he got a little discouraged and blundered} Bg4 25. Qxg4 1-0
