1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 {Sometimes white delays the move f4 to wait for black's
response.} Nc6 3. f4 {Here we go, the King's Gambit...} exf4 {We chose these
line against the King's Gambit because based on statistics this is best for
black. Now, to learn other white variations, check on chess blogs: AKG1 and
AKG2.} 4. Nf3 {Yes, must develop the kingside first.} g5 {White must always
defend the f4 pawn to pressure white's kingside development.} 5. Bc4 g4 6. O-O
{Very aggressive move by GM Hikaru Nakamura to disrupt white's kingside.
Playing against super tactical player GM Vachier-Lagrave is enjoying to watch.
Both GM's are excellent blitz players.} gxf3 7. Bxf7+ Kxf7 {White sacrificed
two pieces which is a typical King's Gambit theme to place black's king in a
difficult position. White must not allow black to develop pieces, otherwise,
it's game over.} 8. Qxf3 Qh4 {Yes, black wants to exchange queens by defending
the f4 pawn. It is too risky too sacrifice two pieces if you are playing GM
Nakamura.} 9. d4 Nxd4 10. Qd3 Ne6 {Black king is well defended, I do not know
how white can achieve a winning position.} 11. Bxf4 Nxf4 12. Nd5 Bd6 13. Nxf4
Bxf4 14. g3 Qg5 15. Rxf4+ Ke7 {White must continue pressuring the black king
by doubling the rooks first.} 16. Qd4 {Attacks the rook at h8 directly. GM
Vachier-Lagrave must have better ideas why he moved the queen first.} Nf6 17.
Rf5 Qxf5 {What a Game!!! It is so intense...} 18. exf5 d5 19. Qe5+ Kf7 20. Re1
Re8 21. Qxc7+ Bd7 22. Rxe8 Rxe8 23. Qxb7 {NOW, WE STOP HERE. WE WITNESS THREE
PIECES VERSUS QUEEN. WHITE'S CHANCE IS TO PROMOTE ONE OF THE PAWNS. ASSESS THE
POSITION? CAN BLACK WIN HERE? AND HOW?} Re2 24. Qxa7 Rxc2 25. Qd4 Bxf5 26. a4
Be4 {WE STOP HERE: WHITE IS NOW IN A DIFFICULT POSITION? EVALUATE AGAIN, USE 5
MINUTES...} 27. h3 {Forced move...to prevent Ng4} Nh5 28. Qe5 Rg2+ 29. Kf1
Nxg3+ 30. Ke1 Re2+ {BLACK RESIGNED: Due to after 31. Kd1 then 31...Bc2 ch.:
The white queen at e5 is free to take. Fantastic game by both GMs. We can feel
the intensity that each wants to win. Congratulations to both GMs Hikaru
Nakamura and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in producing such an exciting game. THANK
YOU SO MUCH....} 0-1
